About the Role
The Editor will assemble engaging short-form and long-form video content for YouTube, streaming and related social platforms. Working from production footage, interviews, graphics, music, and other media, the editor will create polished cuts and editorial versions that match the project's creative direction, brand standards, pacing, and delivery requirements.

What You'll Do
Edit long- and short-form video content for digital platforms
Review raw footage and make editorial decisions and selects for compelling storytelling based on the creative direction for the project including: building rough assemblies, addressing editorial notes, adding music selections, identifying and writing suggested voice over additions, graphics and sound design.
Shape narrative, pacing, tone, and comedic timing to maximize engagement per the creative direction of each video project
Incorporate overall performance and audience feedback into future projects and overall content brand and style.
Contribute to evolving editing standards and creative direction through collaboration with producers, editors and creative team.
Contribute across the creative process, including concepting, story development, and motion/visual elements as needed
Communicate with Assistant Editors and post team for ingest needs and keep all media and cuts organized per the Studios post production structure.
Work within post production milestones and post production schedule dates for each project; communicate status on each project based on milestones outlined.

Solid understanding of post workflows and media files.
Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
Good time-management and sense of scheduling
Flexibility with shifting project needs and requests
Proven experience editing high-quality digital video content
Strong storytelling instincts for non-linear stories, including pacing, tone, and audience engagement
Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Proficiency in Adobe and industry-standard editing tools
Collaborative and creative approach to projects and Studios team
Preferred:
Experience with YouTube-first or creator-driven content
Background in digital media, advertising, or content production environments
Experience with color grading, sound design, or other finishing elements
Experience scaling content production in a growing team
