Production Manager
Looking for Production Managers with big show experience for a prime-time network challenge outdoor gameshow that shoots in the greater Los Angeles area.
Must have experience working on big union shows. Must be comfortable working and filming outdoors - the majority of our filming will take place outside.
The ideal PM is: Extremely organized, self starter, strong diplomatic leader and a team player who is calm under pressure, able to make budget conscious and thoughtful decisions while multi-tasking in a unionized environment. A positive team play attitude cause after all, tv is meant to be fun.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing a Production Coordinator (and their PAs)
Dealing and managing vendors and department heads
Overseeing segments of the budget
Producing Call Sheets and Production Reports
Overseeing and managing crew (most crew will be booked prior to hiring)
Overseeing Coordinators who facilitate start paperwork and timecard distribution as well as review
Communicating information to all departments.
Work closely with the Covid Safety team
Ensure that the production is running efficiently, smoothly and within budget and on schedule.
Have the ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment
Wrap out projects per companies standards
Have Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office
Google Drive (docs, sheets, etc)
Worker's Comp and handling injuries on set if they arise
Managing large scale budgets and productions
IA, DGA, and SAG/AFTRA requirements.
Experience working with Covid Safety Protocols a plus.
Bonus:
Movie Magic or comparable budgeting software
