Senior Accountant - Great Opportunity for the right individual!
Critical Content, located in Burbank, CA is a leading global independent content studio. Launched in October of 2015, the company focuses on unscripted and scripted programming for broadcast, cable and digital platforms.

Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days remote (can be in office more if desired)

This role will touch upon several aspects of the financial statements and is integral to the department. It is about 70% general ledger exposure and 30% accounts payable

Banking
• Set up corporate wires and ACH
• Reconcile corporate bank accounts
• Deposit checks
• Perform journal entries to record corporate transfers

Accounts Payable
• Critical Content is mostly paperless. AP invoices are received in an outlook mailbox. This role will monitor and process all AP that comes thru the inbox.
• Route AP through Ariett and set-up payment
• Run AP aging
• Record credit card transactions for corporate credit card users

G/L
• Prepare journal entries for bi-weekly corporate payroll
• Accrue quarter ended payroll expense
• Prepare re-occurring journal entries for fixed asset depreciation
• Perform other account reconciliations as necessary

Annual Audit
• Assist with interim and annual auditor requests

The ideal applicant will have the following:
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Previous experience with Intacct.
• Previous experience with Ariett or similar experience
• Detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
