Sr. Business Affairs Manager - Ad Agency

SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position provides the opportunity to join the Business Affairs ''A-Team'' of a global agency working on big brands, with the unique perk of living and working in Boulder - a city top-rated amongst great places to live, work and have fun (with some of the best year-round recreation around - skiing, hiking and cycling).

As a member of the team, you will be managing all business facets of commercial production across CP+B's extensive client roster, including production and talent contracting, licensing and clearances, budget administration, scoping legal issues, interpreting the SAG Commercials Contract as it relates to specific productions. Additionally our Senior Business Managers work closely with CP+B account teams to scope and screen work for potential legal or licensing issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
*Handle talent contracting and estimating for commercial productions, including preparation of SAG contracts and non-union talent agreements
*Negotiate celebrity/overscale talent agreements
*Review creative for any clearances or licensing as necessary
*Handle all third-party clearances and licensing, including stock footage, movie/TV rights, music, props, etc.
*Work closely with CP+B legal counsel in resolving potential production liabilities and working through solutions
*Prepare production estimate with breakdowns and info from assigned producer
*Issue purchase orders, facilitate invoice approvals, payment and job actualization
*Create production start up documents, including production agreements, insurance coverage, and talent mandatories. Negotiate production agreements when necessary.
*Work closely with account teams to resolve any liability issues within assigned production, creating viable solutions/production frameworks

JOB REQUIREMENTS
*5-7 years related experience in advertising or commercial (video) production
*Industry expertise and experience
