A leading Culver City creative advertising agency, working on the highest profile theatrical and broadcast marketing campaigns, is looking for a Control Room Manager.
This position requires critical thinking, problem solving, and resourcefulness with limited supervision. You will need the ability to quickly adapt and learn new workflows. Previous dub/machine/control room and/or assistant editor experience required. Experience directly communicating with studio and network clients is preferred.
You must have proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut 7 (marrying picture to audio, relinking media, adding/editing slates & burn ins, exporting sequences, etc) as well as knowledge of frame rates and ProRes, DNX, & H264 codecs. In addition, experience with DaVinci Resolve, Apple Compressor, PIX, Aspera, FTP clients, Wiredrive, Box, Dropbox, Signiant, etc is required.
Additional experience with the following skills:
-Prior experience with Telestream Vantage - creating and managing workflows.
-Media Asset Management systems
-User permissions management and audit experience
-Familiarity managing Avid NEXUS arrays
-Download, assess, & transcode media for editoral
-Post offline files, finishing preps, final outputs, etc to clients
-Operate VO booth for VO/ADR & ISDN sessions
-Maintain server access & asset management
-Familiarity managing Avid NEXUS arrays
-Receive, store, and log scripts & vendor hard drives
-Coordinate team schedule
-Innovator: someone who constantly looks for ways to improve workflow process and procedures
