Crazy Cat Lady Productions, a TV & Film production company with an overall deal at Netflix, is seeking an Executive Assistant. As the essential glue to a small but rapidly growing team, this role will be responsible for supporting the Principal (an award winning showrunner & producer) and development team through administrative tasks, including phones and scheduling, managing the office, and supporting creative development across a slate of active TV and film projects. Upward growth is encouraged and will be enthusiastically supported for the right person.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fluid and creative environment, is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in helping to manage a variety of tasks ranging from creative to administrative to personal. This job requires a hard-working assistant who has a love for story, reading and collaborating in a changing environment, is resourceful, enthusiastic, motivated and a dedicated self-starter with a no job is too small attitude.
The ideal candidate should be able to self-manage multiple projects at once, be up on current trends, have excellent phone and people skills, and be hungry to grow in responsibilities as the company expands.
A minimum of two years of experience as an assistant at a studio, production company, or major agency is REQUIRED.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
-Maintaining Principal's phone, calendar, work, and travel schedules using Microsoft Outlook
-script coverage and creative notes on submissions
-Helping coordinate writer searches for staffing rooms and development
-Participating in weekend read and original idea brainstorms
-Tracking active development projects and coordinating between departments
-Scheduling, phones, and administrative work for showrunner and development executives
-Some personal tasks, coordinating and errands for showrunner/producer
-Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding employees and consultants, including hardware installation request/repair, space planning, etc.
-Manages general office and administrative tasks, including ordering of miscellaneous supplies, renewing memberships and subscriptions, managing distribution lists, photocopying, faxing, deliveries, etc.
