Description:

CraveOnline is seeking a creative, innovative editor with a strong voice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing original compelling content in a constantly changing digital world. A wide range of male focused knowledge is a must and responsibilities will include latest developing news, event coverage and features in most categories including lifestyle, sports, entertainment, music etc. Not for the faint hearted, the candidate must be a leader with the ability to manage a content budget with a large team of writers, editors and talent while also implementing best SEO practices and helping identify, build, develop and oversee strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Overall management editorial and site strategy

Implementation of SEO best practices and strategic link building for traffic growth

Daily coordination with strategic syndication partners
Overall management of original content development and creation
Weekly management of traffic goals and content team bonuses
Planning and development of new content channels
Managing all PR agency relationships and opportunities
Coordination and integration with advertiser sponsored hubs

Minimum Requirements:

4+ years as an editor in online media, journalism
Strong editorial voice and direction
Excellent communication skills and an ability to lead while working collaboratively with multiple teams

A proven track record of aggressive, innovative leadership within the male space

A comprehensive understanding of editorial best practices, including SEO, SMO, effective evergreen content for longevity and syndication
Complete understanding of best social networking practices and implementation

B.A. required, preferably in a relevant field
