Country Thunder Music Festivals is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist. The successful candidate will work with the Country Thunder team to grow, engage, and entertain our digital community through our social media platforms to compliment our marketing strategies.

Here's what we'll ask of you:
Responsibilities:
Execute the full social presence according to our marketing and branding strategy for all Country Thunder festivals engaging audiences through various social media platforms.
Planning and creating compelling and original multi-media social content, including festival updates, special features, photo and video based features, and interactive features.
Respond to and engage with messages and interactions received on all social accounts for all festivals.
Provide all members of the marketing team appropriate analytics on social content and strategy, including market competitive analysis, with actionable strategic observations provided with all reports.
What We Need From You:
College or university degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in Music Business, New Media, or Communications.
Must have 2 years minimum experience in developing online or social content, preferably in related industries
Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm and passion for country music, live entertainment, and relevant pop culture is an asset.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and a familiarity with HTML, Flash and Javascript is considered an asset.
Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize, as necessary.
Must be able to self-direct in a busy work environment with abnormal hours.
Must be able to travel within USA and Canada
