Primary Responsibilities:
-Receive, transcode, ingest and break down footage from productions (reading and understanding script notes and continuity logs)
-Follow editor's specifications and settings for project-set-up, line breakdowns etc.
-Track the job's various elements including graphics, voice overs, end tags, supers as they come into the project.
-Help with music searches, sound effect searches, and stock footage searches
-Maintain duplicity and ''media online'' status with the Editor through the job
-Track versions and the evolution of the edit based on client feedback
-Organize the final locked and approved picture and deliver preps for the final mix house, final color grade and final VFX/online/finishing
- Securely and quickly navigate the post workflow in an editor-friendly and often client-facing environment
-Wrap up projects media and assets for back-up and storage, archiving masters & final mix + splits etc in conjunction with the Vault
-Manage client, editor and producer requests and prioritize as needed
Skills:
Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut X, After Effects and Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop)
Working knowledge of posting websites, e.g. Wiredrive, frame i/o, interdubs, dropbox, wetransfer, FTPs
Able to export and post at a variety of sizes/codecs/file types
Able to thoroughly QC files
Able to organize work effectively in order to meet deadlines
Shows personal creative impulse and an artistic point-of-view
Follows and learns about industry technology trends (including camera formats & codecs)
Conduct all matters in a professional, confidential and courteous manner
Skilled in Google G-Suite
Skilled online communicator: emails, texts, slacks, google meet, zooms etc.
Quick to learn technology
Advanced knowledge of the post production process
Advanced communication skills and personable
Prioritizes numerous tasks
Advanced organizational skills
Patient and at-ease disposition
De-escalates and diffuses conflict
