Assistant Entertainment Emcee - Cosmic Baseball

Cosmic Baseball is redefining sports entertainment and we need an additional emcee for the entertainment team that helps to create the family friendly rave atmosphere that makes cosmic baseball unique.

What is cosmic baseball? This sports spectacle combines black lights with UV reactive player uniforms and equipment, fan merchandise, lasers, bubble machines and UV reactive confetti shot out of cannons all while baseball is being played and the music is non stop.

The Assistant Entertainment Emcee reports to the Director of Entertainment and has the following responsibilities:

Back up to lead Emcee and in-game host
Announcing batter walk ups
Helping to plan pre-game and in-game entertainment activities
Facilitate entertainment activities with fans
Lead promotions and entertainment teams
Work closely with social media team
Organize and pack up entertainment supplies
Research and purchase entertainment supplies
Scout potential talent for game day entertainment experiences
Help to set up pre-game and post game entertainment areas

Candidates need to have:
High level of energy
Ability to use creative skills to design and build entertainment props
Awareness of pop culture trends
Social media knowledge and trend awareness
Ability to speak in front of large crowds

This in person position will travel with the team as a part of the Cosmic Takeover Tour to a new tour stop most weekends between mid-March to mid-October.

Compensation includes:
*Salary: $40,000-$50,000
*Optional health care plan

*Vacation and sick time leave accrual
*For tour stops, the team pays for travel, lodging and usually includes a food per diem
