Role & Responsibilities
- Working under the VP of Digital to assist in the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies behind CMG artists.
- Create data acquisition marketing strategies across the CMG roster.
- Day-to-day upkeep of artists social media and web properties.
- Supporting the day-to-day managers with logistical tasks, including advancing of shows (booking flights, hotels and coordinating with promoters) as well as tour, event and festival production.
- Management of CMG's monthly sync mailout - working with senior management to establish priorities and management team to gather assets.
- Administrative assistance to A&R dept including co-ordination of writing and recording sessions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years music business experience, ideally in digital marketing, live, label or artist management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving and lateral thinking skills needed
- Must have strong multi tasking abilities and should be detail oriented, organized, timely and accurate.
- Should have a broad knowledge of the digital landscape including a high proficiency in emerging technology as it relates to media and marketing, as well as related analytic tools.
- An ability and passion to consistently stay ahead of market trends
- Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or video editing experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HTML encouraged
