Content Talent South (CTS) Management & Productions is a first-of-its-kind talent management and production company, helping Georgia's most talented people produce the world's most exceptional stories. CTS is searching for a Talent Manager to work with writers and IP in the Film & Television industry within the state. As a Talent Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing talent and scripts. In this role, you will be closely involved in the planning, scheduling, and oversight of a varied range of projects alongside the CTS Leadership Team. This position comes with the potential to be involved in the development and production of projects the company produces. This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Responsibilities:
• Identification, development, and management of writers and content creators in the film & television sector
• Managing the careers of writers, which includes business and career counsel
• Creating marketing strategies to promote clients
• Creating pitches and packages for the talent
• Manage offers and participate in financing arrangements of client projects
• Develop, track, and lead client submissions
• Pitch writers or scripts to casting directors, agents, and/or production executives
• Oversee contract negotiations and business deals
• Help identify scripts and other IP for representation and production
• Perform other tasks and services as required
Job Requirements (preferred):
-2+ years working as a Talent Manager, Agent, Development Executive, Producer, or in a similar capacity
-Experience with entertainment union contracts
-Knowledge of appropriate labor laws and work permits related to the entertainment industry
-2+ years experience managing client relationships
-A deep network of contacts in the film & television industry
-Four year degree in Management, Communications, Film, or related field
-Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organization skills
-Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
-Strong marketing knowledge/skills
-Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality with high-profile clients and projects
-Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
