We've featured incredible guests like: Jack Black, G-Eazy, Clancy (Tyler, The Creator's Manager), Kathryn Frazier (The Weeknd's Publicist), LaRussell, Coodie & Chike (Netflix, Kanye West Documentary Directors ''Jeen-yuhs''), and Brock Korsan (Kendrick Lamar's A&R). The podcast is hosted by Samson Shulman, a former Interscope Records executive turned therapist.
What You'll Do //
Donor & Investor Development:
Research and qualify individual donors, foundations, and impact investors to arrange meetings
Draft personalized outreach emails and follow-ups; maintain outreach records
Brand & Event Partnerships:
Identify companies aligned with the mission of Connection is Magic to partner for live in person interviews with artists at Miami Art Basel 2025
Brainstorm marketing concepts to pitch in our outreach for sponsorship packages and on-site activations
University Live-Podcast Interview Coordination:
Liaise with campus programming boards to host a marquee live podcast recording with a high-profile guest
Manage logistics (dates, tech specs, marketing assets) in collaboration with university staff
Ideal Qualifications //
Passion for mental health, the arts, and pop-culture
Excellent written communication; comfortable cold-emailing executives and donors
Strong research and organizational skills
Self-starter mindset; thrives in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment
Prior experience in fundraising, sponsorship, campus programming, or event production is a plus
