Intern Applicant Must live in Los Angeles; this is not a remote job
*Looking for a leg up entering the entertainment industry? You will work closely and personally with the company CEO/, an award-winning producer of Romantic Comedies. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
script coverage is very important and key for finding the right projects. We are looking for interns who have had coverage and writing backgrounds. This is not a remote work from home. Must be able to communicate and collaborate well.
Immediate start date. We have projects we are working on now.
Experience is a plus: Confidence, Contribution, and Problem solving are the most important skills
Ideal Candidate:
• Is organized, focused, and reliable
• Wants to learn rapidly about the industry through the eyes of a Producer.
• Great opportunity for writers.
• Movie Magic or Quickbooks great..Final Draft a must.
*Animation background is a welcomed skill.
Responsibilities Include:
• Reading and providing written coverage of spec script submissions
• General office tasks
Final Draft editing and Proofreading scripts.
Time Commitment:
6-8 hrs./week, 2 days/week, etc.
Workplace:
At the Production company, Laurel Canyon.
