Established rock band seeks experienced individual or firm to spearhead complete website overhaul (from design to development to maintenance), leading the development process through completion, and drive marketing and online media outreach efforts.
The ideal revamped site will be cool but simple and feature up-to-date information on the artist from updates on social networks and other online communities, which will feed directly onto the website. We will look to you for ideas on how to optimize the site's functionality and visibility. Daily management of the site, along with online community management (third party sites including Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, etc.), and management of artist's personal blog are also required. Marketing and advertising efforts will be developed and executed in conjunction with artist's management, but a solid understanding of how to market bands and music is key.
Required technical skills include proficiency in Mac Snow Leopard, PC XP, Vista and Windows 7, Adobe CS4 (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator), Flash, ActionScript, html, xhtml, xml, CSS, and Final Cut Pro. iPhone application development a plus.
