Job Title: Wardrobe Stylist for Feature Film (Unpaid Deferred)
Location: Open to candidates from anywhere, local preferred
Shooting Dates: Tentative dates from August 12 to August 28
Payment: Deferred payment with percentages from sales
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Wardrobe Stylist to join our team for an upcoming feature film. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and work with a dedicated team of filmmakers. The position is unpaid, but we offer deferred payment and a percentage of sales from the film.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the director and production team to design and create wardrobe concepts that align with the film's vision
• Source, rent, or create costumes and accessories for characters
• Ensure continuity and consistency of costumes throughout the shoot
• Manage wardrobe budget and maintain records of all wardrobe items
• Assist actors with fittings and costume changes on set
• Handle any wardrobe-related issues that arise during filming
Requirements:
• Some experience as a wardrobe stylist or a similar role in film, theater, or television preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for film and a creative mindset
