Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations and use of video production facilities owned by VidOps. This includes a sound stage, foley and voice over recording rooms, audio mixing bays, video editorial bays, and video color suites. Ensure all the equipment in the facilities are functional and in good working condition. Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and technical support of facilities when necessary.
- Manage reservations and allocated use of video production equipment owned by VidOps at Riot Games. This includes camera packages and accessories, audio recording equipment, grip & electric gear, D.I.T equipment, and expendables. Ensure the gear inventory is 100% accurate and in good standing with our online tracking software Booqable. Coordinate repairs, upgrades, replacement, and retirement of the gear when necessary.
- Perform Associate Producer, Production Coordinator responsibilities as needed on video projects. This can include production and post-production scheduling, cast and crew booking, location scouting and booking, and facility and video equipment preparation.
- Provide on-set production crew support as needed for video projects. This can include directing the photography, camera operating, camera assistance, grip / electric work, audio recording, art direction, and media management.
- Perform post-production support as needed on video projects. This can include video editing, transcription, graphics work, color correction, prepping project files for editors, conforming timelines, and exporting video renders for delivery.
- Provide video production and post-production consultation as needed on video projects.
- Manage purchases and expenses incurred through video productions or operations. Reconcile those expenses in Concur monthly. Coordinate sale of retired video production gear to vendors.
- Participate in research, testing, and demonstrations of new production or post-production technology and workflow optimization.
- Stay up to date on the latest emerging trends in Production, Post Production, and Media Asset Management workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study like Film Production or Communications, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production of related field.
- Ideal candidates should be collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multitasking and problem solving in a fast-paced production environment.
- Working knowledge of Various aspects of Video Production on-set such as: Camera Operation, Sound Recording, Media Asset Management, Grip & Electric.
- Comfortable preparing and assembling various camera packages from current Riot Inventory.
- Comfortable trouble-shooting non-functional production equipment.
- Extremely organized and process oriented with the ability to pivot when needed. - Working knowledge of Production workflow
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects in varying stages of development and production. - Solid interpersonal skills who can build strong working relationships with an ability to interface with varied levels of management, peers, and partners across varying teams. - Can prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change the course of action quickly. - Passionate about their work and approaches challenges with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Post Production Workflow
- Worked in either a studio, network, or creative service company with working knowledge of the layers and processes behind production.
- Experience with corporate purchasing systems and expense report submission. - Experience with video editorial workflow.
- Experience with creative software tools like, but not limited to: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects & FCPX.
