What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a freelance Video Editor who can strategically and creatively piece together video content to tell compelling, engaging, inspiring origin stories for our clients. This role is a unique opportunity to act as a crucial member of a small but mighty team, creating cinematic content for top tier brands. This individual must have a gift for narrative short-form and long-form storytelling. A plus if you're a fan of NPR's ''How I Built This'' and CNN's ''Great Big Story''.
Responsibilities:
Strategically and creatively piece together video content to tell inspiring, engaging stories for everyone from small businesses to high-profile clients.
Conceive, craft, and execute dynamic video edits that captivate the audience and accomplish project objectives.
You will work closely with our director to shape a narrative and deliver compelling video on a required timeline.
Demonstrate the ability to understand and know all available footage in order to think through edits and address notes.
Deliver edits on time for all reviews and final delivery, flagging any timing concerns early on.
Maintain, organize, and archive the digital library of assets.
Requirements:
5+ years of video editing experience.
Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Master of all aspects of video Post Production including editing and mastering for delivery across all social media platforms.
Proficient color grading skills within Premiere and some familiarity with Davinci.
Proficient in sound editing/mixing skills in Premiere and some familiarity with Protools.
Proficient in Keynote, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
Deep understanding and expertise on all social platforms and traditional media.
Excellent organization and meticulous attention to detail in the preparation of final deliverables.
Strong communicator and receptive to feedback and direction.
