Video & Audio Engineer (Podcast)

Freelance Job
Seeking a long-term freelance Video & Audio Engineer for a successful video podcast. Qualified candidates are generally awesome in the following areas:

- Available for 2-hour in-person recording sessions at least 4 times per month
- Setup and operation of 4K DSLR cameras, including recording, adjusting positions and controls to change frame, focus, exposure, and lighting
- Operating Black Magic ATEM, and analog audio mixers
- Proficiency in industry standard audio recording software, including but not limited to: ATEM Software Control, Pro Tools, and Logic Pro
- Multichannel audio recording (i.e. recording multiple hosts and guests at a time, with a combination of in-studio and remote participants)
- Recording video and audio over Zoom
- Transcoding and uploading video and audio files
- Observing set for potential technical problems and to determine filming and lighting requirements
- Real-time troubleshooting during recordings and taking direction from producers
