Vertical Drama Writer

We are seeking experienced writers with a strong background in serialized storytelling to join our slate of vertical drama projects. These projects are designed for mobile-first audiences and feature fast-paced, emotionally engaging narratives delivered in short-form episodes (1-1.5 minutes each).

Responsibilities:
-Develop compelling short-form scripts that drive binge-worthy engagement.
-Build strong characters and cliffhanger-driven story arcs that sustain multi-episode runs.
-Collaborate with producers and development executives to refine pitches, outlines, and scripts.
-Adapt to the unique demands of vertical video storytelling: fast pacing, episodic hooks, visual-first writing.

Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience in vertical drama writing (samples required).
-Strong grasp of episodic structure and character development.
-Ability to work under deadlines and incorporate feedback.
-Prior experience writing for mobile-first platforms.
-Interest in romance a plus.
-Non-union writers.
