About Us: We are a digital video encoding company based in Agoura Hills, CA. Our clients include video content owners,
distributors and studios. We encode and deliver to numerous online, TV, and mobile platforms.
Position Summary:
-Conforming, Creating and QC'ing Closed Caption files against their companion source material
-Conforming and QC'ing Subtitle text file against their companion source material
Job Responsibilities:
Sync, edit, and perform quality check on Closed Caption and Subtitle files
Create Closed Captions from scratch (transcribe, time, and format)
Memorize and adhere to varying client specification requirements
*Software used: (but not limited to) CPC MacCaption, Annotation Edit & Annotation Transcriber, Swift, Lemony Subtitler, and any other software needed to complete daily tasks.
Skills and Requirements:
-Previous experience required 2 years minimum
-Familiarity with Netflix Timed Text demands
-Familiarity with iTunes Timed Text demands
-Fast and accurate typing skills
-Excellent English grammar and spelling knowledge
-Foreign language skills a plus. Must at least be comfortable working with foreign languages through translation software
-Proficiency on both Mac and PC
-Proficiency in MS Office and Gmail
-Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently with little to no direction
*Training will be provided on all programs.
*Must possess a positive attitude, and the aptitude and eagerness to learn quickly.
