Looking for a part time assistant at a talent management company in Los Angeles that represents stars as well as developmental actors, writers, and directors. The job will entail rolling calls, scheduling, calendar organization, communicating with clients, talent scouting, setting travel, etc. While we would like someone with experience (preferably at an agency or management company), it is more important for us to find someone with the personality and initiative needed for this line of work. If you have experience at an agency or in management, please make specific note in your submission.
You will work closely and directly with clients and receive immense amounts of first hand experience (e.g. listen in on calls, etc) that will be valuable to anyone wanting to become a talent representative themselves. If talent representation is a career goal of yours, please include in your submission! While you will potentially be needed in-person, this job will primarily be work from home. There will be no permanent days of the week you are required to come into the office. The only times you would be needed in person would be for specific tasks like helping on a client's photo shoot or something of that nature.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling
• Maintain calendars, set meetings, book travel, coordinate shoots and manage client auditions.
Communication
• Interface with agents, casting directors, publicists, and clients.
• Assist with client submissions/pitching, press coordination, and ensure clear, professional communication at all times.
• Handle sensitive client information with discretion and confidentiality.
Administrative / Creative Support
• Track contracts/payments, manage databases, support client invoicing, research projects, and assist with creative materials such as pitch decks, demo reels, bios, and social content. There are a lot of very creative parts to this job so please share with us if you have experience editing videos, etc.
In-Person Event Support
• Assist with on-site logistics for premieres, photo shoots, etc.
Qualifications:
• Must be proficient with Apple products (iPhone, MacBook), Gmail, G-Suite and Microsoft Word.
• Social Media: Experience with content creation, video editing, experience using Canva or branding campaigns is a major plus. Please tell us about your experience in this area!
