Part-Time Talent Coordinator (Remote)
Private client seeking an experienced, proactive Talent Coordinator to provide administrative, research, and strategic coordination support for an emerging film and television actor.
The client is an established entrepreneur pursuing a professional acting career alongside existing business commitments. He has completed acting training and participated in a small number of short-film and voice projects, but is still at an early stage of building professional film and television credits and industry representation.
We are seeking someone with prior professional experience at a talent agency, talent management company, or casting office who understands the entertainment industry from the inside and can bring informed judgment to the process of developing an acting career.
This is a part-time coordination and administrative support role, not a talent agent or management position.
Responsibilities
Representation Research and Coordination
• Research talent agencies and management companies, identifying appropriate potential fits based on the actor's experience, profile, and career objectives.
• Help develop and organize a structured representation search, including recommended targets, outreach priorities, and timelines.
• Prepare submission packages, introductory correspondence, and relevant supporting materials for the actor's review and approval.
• Coordinate outreach and follow-ups at the actor's direction, including scheduling introductions and meetings.
• Maintain an organized database of agencies, managers, contacts, communications, and responses.
Casting and Audition Administration
• Research relevant film, television, streaming, and independent production casting opportunities.
• Help maintain profiles on Actors Access, Casting Networks, and other relevant industry platforms.
• Organize casting notices and recommend appropriate opportunities for the actor's consideration.
• Coordinate submissions at the actor's direction, including organizing materials, tracking responses, and managing audition schedules.
• Track auditions, callbacks, submissions, and relevant follow-ups.
Career Development Support
• Organize and maintain headshots, acting resumes, reels, footage, and other professional materials.
• Research relevant acting workshops, classes, industry events, and professional development opportunities.
• Provide informed recommendations regarding career-development priorities based on industry experience.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, auditions, training, and other professional activities.
• Maintain a clear, organized pipeline of ongoing activities and next steps.
• Provide concise weekly progress reports, research findings, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
• Prior professional experience at a talent agency, talent management company, or casting office is required, preferably as an assistant, coordinator, or in a comparable role.
• Working knowledge of the film and television casting process, talent representation landscape, and industry practices.
• Familiarity with Actors Access, Casting Networks, IMDbPro, and common casting and submission workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough industry research, organize outreach, maintain contact records, and coordinate professional communications.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting emerging or developing actors.
• Prior experience coordinating representation searches, talent submissions, or casting-related administration.
• Familiarity with the Los Angeles film and television industry and its professional networks.
• Ability to provide thoughtful, practical recommendations rather than simply complete assigned tasks.
Position Details
• Remote, approximately 5-10 hours per week.
• Flexible scheduling.
• $40-$60 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
• Initial three-month contract, with potential for an ongoing relationship.
