Seeking a Talent Booker for The Nod with Brittany & Eric on Quibi (Five days a week, hosts Brittany Luse and Eric Eddings dig into the biggest moments and most under-explored corners of Black culture, as told by the actors, musicians, writers, thinkers, chefs, activists, artists, and everyday people who live it).
Responsibilities include: booking 3 to 5 guests per week (initially via remote and likely to move into the studio and / or field later in the Fall); pitching guests; maintaining a calendar featuring 3 months of advanced release dates for films, television shows, books, music, and cultural events; working with show producers to arrange guest pre-interviews; and securing appearance and materials release forms from guests.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience booking guests for television. Candidates should also possess an in-depth knowledge of Black culture and have very strong contacts with agents, managers, and firms that represent Black artists, journalists, activists, digital content creators, and newsmakers. Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
The position begins in early September and runs through March 2021.
