Role Overview: Senior Vice President, Marketing
Rich Spirit is an independent film distribution company dedicated to bold storytelling, cultural impact, and supporting visionary filmmakers. The Senior Vice President, Marketing will lead the vision and strategy of global marketing campaigns across a film's entire lifecycle. This role oversees the development and integration of digital, social, creative advertising, partnerships, influencer activations and global media efforts. With deep expertise in the evolving entertainment landscape, the SVP will drive best-in-class campaigns that elevate the brand, engage audiences worldwide and maximize box office performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation of digital and social campaign briefs from pre-production through release.
Set the overall strategic vision, ensuring alignment with film positioning and audience targets.
Oversee the development and rollout of digital content and organic social assets.
Manage collaboration between internal teams and external vendors to execute campaign deliverables.
Serve as the primary contact for external creative and media agencies.
Guide development of assets by crafting clear briefs, providing strategic feedback and managing timelines
Partner closely with internal departments (Creative, Publicity, Media, International, Partnerships) to ensure consistency and alignment across all marketing materials.
Facilitate seamless integration across various workstreams and platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with filmmakers, talent teams, and stakeholders.
Facilitate the creative approval process and ensure alignment with key partners.
Own campaign budget management, collaborating with finance on planning and reconciliation.
Track and report on budget updates weekly ensuring fiscal responsibility throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.A. preferred)
10-12 years of experience in digital/social media marketing, preferably within entertainment or agency environments
Proven track record managing 360 campaigns across digital, social, AV, email, and print
Strong grasp of emerging social platforms and consumer behavior trends
Proficiency with digital analytics tools and interpreting key metrics (Reach, Engagement, Frequency, etc.)
Experience writing creative briefs and managing agency partners from concept to execution
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
