Social Media Field Producer

This is a Part Time Job

Looking for a freelance producer to film funny on-the-street style interviews for social media content. This is NOT an on-camera role, you'll be filming iPhone interviews with people on trending topics. Perfect for someone with comedic chops and social media savvy, available for one 4-5 hour shift per week, with the potential for more based on performance.

Great for aspiring video producers/ social media managers/ comedians and content creators looking to build their resume.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Film interviews with vibrant personalities on the streets of LA.
• Questions and topics will be provided to you, & you'll work directly with the Executive Producer to deliver quality content in line with the brand's voice.
• Approach appropriate interview candidates in busy areas around UCLA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and have fun conversations with interesting personalities on trending topics.
• While you will not be required to edit videos, you'll work with the EP on transferring over footage during each shift, maintaining contact information for interview candidates and communicating your progress throughout your shift.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be very social media savvy with a high level of knowledge on pop culture, entertainment news, movies, TV, music & lifestyle.
• Experience in comedy is a huge plus - improv, stand up or comedic content on social media. You'll be approaching people for fun interviews, so must enjoy bantering with strangers.
• Outgoing personalities with an understanding of viral social content, and a strong desire to help a media brand grow from scratch.
