A multi-hyphenate, high profile internet + entertainment family is looking for a creative, passionate, hardworking, dynamic, and loyal Social Media Coordinator.
You will be tasked with running multiple social media channels and expected to generate new ideas to increase reach, engagement levels and grow the channels organically.
You will be required to lead the social media management for each channel, ensuring content is original, bespoke and on brand at all times. We need someone that lives and breathes social media and on-trend culture while regularly keeping up with social trends, who isn't afraid to think outside the box. The social media coordinator will be driven, intelligent, proactive, detail-oriented, personable, and can multitask on several projects.
You will work closely with other members of the team, and will be highly involved in influencer campaigns and activations from the brainstorming stage to go-live execution.
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 years experience in a professional social media role. We are a fast growth company, so the candidate should be comfortable in a fast paced environment. Previous experience working with talent is preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Manage all aspects of social distribution and optimization for all channels and branded campaigns.
Analyze the analytics for all social channels; deliver monthly social media reports to the team by platform.
Create a strategy for regular publishing and content promotion through social platforms.
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely campaigns.
Coordinate day-to-day content calendar executions including copywriting, asset coordination, and publishing to all relevant channels.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, and channels.
Work closely with the brand team to plan and execute an integrated strategy that supports business objectives and branded campaigns.
Establish and maintain relationships with social media platforms, brands, and followers.
Engage with followers on all social media accounts.
Below are examples of duties that this role will entail:
Administrate the publishing of content for all channels and brand partnerships.
Post and/or share relevant content for all channels regularly and when requested.
Create copy for all social posts in accordance with the client's tone of voice.
Create and manage the social calendar for clients including branded campaign content.
Build and maintain relationships with social media platforms.
Keep up with the latest social media best practices and technologies; identify new tools to elevate the department and client success.
Work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Analyze and report on the performance of social channels and social posts to measure the effectiveness of our efforts.
Liaising with brand partnership manager, videographer/photographer, graphic designer, and management team.
Join all creative calls with external brands / agencies.
Engage with the client's current followers when appropriate.
Leverage your creativity, insights, and analysis to brainstorm strong social storytelling moments and best-in-class integrated brand activations
Attend events and produce live social media content
3 + years of relevant professional experience in social media, content creation, and influencer marketing
Excellent cross-department project management skills to see through all social media campaigns, ads and influencer campaigns from start to finish
Extensive experience of social media platforms including, but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
In-depth knowledge of the latest best practices, tools, and trends
Experience with social media content briefing, content calendar mapping, shot lists, and content production
Exceptional relationship management skills, able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of influencers, celebrities, and pop culture
Highly structured, focused, and organized
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to anticipate client needs and potential problems and effectively problem solve
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, ask questions and seek assistance when necessary
Strong eye for design; attention to detail is a must
Self-starter, able to work independently, as well as with cross-functional teams
Takes feedback well and continually adapts to changing needs
This position has a lot of direct contact with other high profile individuals so professionalism is expected at all times.
Must have a reliable source of transportation and clean driving record.
Schedule: M-F 10am-6pm with flexibility to come in earlier/stay later when needed. The Social Media Coordinators schedule is based on the Principal's schedule, which changes frequently.
