SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

An Emmy Award-winning boutique film production company, is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant to support the company's digital presence. Responsibilities include day-to-day support across all social platforms, assistance with content creation and posting, and coordination around active releases and projects. Candidates should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, be highly organized, creatively motivated, and have a genuine interest in comedy and internet culture. This is a part-time position with a flexible, hybrid schedule.

DAY TO DAY:
Assist with posting and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Help source, organize, and prepare clips from stand-up, trailers, and behind-the-scenes materials
Write and edit captions that align with the tone of each project
Track upcoming releases and ensure social posts are delivered on time
Maintain simple content calendars and posting trackers
Monitor basic engagement and flag posts that are performing well
Update IMDB listings as needed
Help track growth and performance metrics and share updates with the team on weekly calls
Stay up to date on platform trends and formats
Other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong interest in social media, comedy, film, or digital culture
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video
Strong communication and organizational skills
Positive attitude and genuine love for comedy
