Job Posting: Writer for Scripted Audio Horror Series (Black Mirror-Style)
We're seeking a sharp, imaginative scriptwriter to join a new scripted audio horror/thriller series in the vein of Black Mirror, Inside No. 9, and Archive 81. This is a collaboration with a well-known digital creator and will lean heavily into tech-driven paranoia, psychological twists, and modern myth-making.
Location: We're based in Los Angeles but this is a remote position.
What We're Looking For:
Writers with a strong voice and a love for high-concept horror or speculative fiction
Experience in audio drama, screenwriting, or serialized storytelling
Ability to write both short, self-contained episodes and serialized arcs
A sense of tone: unsettling, intelligent, and emotionally grounded
Prior professional writing experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We're open to emerging voices with a clear vision and compelling storytelling instincts
Bonus if you're familiar with podcast writing formats or genre TV
Project Format:
Scripted audio series (podcast)
Roughly 20-30 min episodes
Development begins immediately
Paid position (rates negotiable based on experience)
