Job Title: Post-Production Scheduling Coordinator (Localization, Transcription & Remastering)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Post-Production Scheduling Coordinator to help create, spec check, schedule and fulfill transcription, captioning and localization work for studio and television network clients. Experience with transcription, captioning, script creation and localization a must with strong understanding of cc and script-delivery workflows. In this role, you will help schedule and work with our team of technical operators to ensure delivery of high-quality, timecode-accurate media, text documents and other assets for television and digital media projects. You will also ensure the files and media asset deliverables meet strict industry standards and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate Work: Under supervision of Senior Project Management you will work to ensure the timely scheduling, creation, QC and delivery of localization, transcription and mastering elements successfully deliver by deadlines
-Schedule Teams: set up schedules and make sure elements are staged for the internal transcription team as well as the QC and addressing of all issues prior to overseeing uploads for deadline
-Run Assets Through Quality Control: Audit deliverables for meticulous accuracy, correct formatting, proper speaker identification, and precise timecoding.
-Coordinate Flow of Dept Work Through Prod Pipelines: Collaborate with deliverables operators, localization and transcription teams to integrate text and media assets seamlessly into the fulfillment workflow.
Job Qualifications
Required Experience & Education
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in post-production, studio or media operations, localization, or a related entertainment industry field.
Coordinator Background: Proven track record scheduling under tight deadlines with a high-volume workload.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Film/Television Production, Communications, English, Journalism, or equivalent professional experience.
Technical Skills
-Deep understanding of entertainment industry delivery standards (including scripts, captioning, localization files, etc).
-Proven knowledge of domestic and international localization specs and delivery standards, codecs, timecode and frame rate conversions, digital file and video formats as well as deliverables workflows using NLEs, transcoders and other industry standard tools.
-Strong familiarity with professional transcription software and workflows for cc and script creation
-Next level organizational and scheduling software experience as we as digital asset management (DAM) and asset library/MAM platforms.
-Familiarity with Non-Linear Editing (NLE) software workflows (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer), Microsoft Word and Excel regarding marker and script integration.
-Ability to create, track and complete tasks using spreadsheets.
