Reporting to the EVP of Sales, this is a “hands-on” position that requires an energetic and efficient individual who is self-motivated, organized, dependable, with excellent communication skills, and is able to oversee numerous functions.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, possess advanced written and verbal communication skills, and be extremely well organized and analytical, with an ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities include:
• Locating and pitching avails to new and existing distributors in international markets.
• Negotiating and drafting distribution agreements.
• Sourcing, assessing, and recommending content for acquisition.
• Entering and maintaining several databases; (FilmTrack experience highly desirable).
• Creating and distributing relevant reports from our rights management database systems.
• Update and maintain client contact & distributor lists.
• Coordinating meetings, schedules, and calendars for sales executives.
• Attend (in-person and virtual) Film Markets and coordinate events.
• Support the office team by tracking offers & sales and assisting with creating reports and models.
• Assisting with deal preparation, including checking spreadsheet data and avails and putting together deal memos, and coordinating collision checks.
• Creating marketing materials for digital brochures, email campaigns, lookbooks, creative decks, and previs presentations.
• To undertake ad hoc projects as requested by the executive team to research trends, information, or opportunities in their regions, including: analysis of broadcasters, platforms, viewership, subscriber numbers, effects on viewing trends, ratings, etc.
Requirements Include:
• College degree in Film/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of international sales experience in the entertainment industry, preferably in film sales and distribution.
• Ideal candidate is ambitious, resourceful, articulate, and professional, with
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in FilmTrack, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.).
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and being a self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Must be detail-oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while effectively meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, highly analytical, and a problem solver.
Salary/Benefits
$60,000.00
- 120,000.00
