Responsibilities
• Experience of the process to help identify and create legal, production and rights and clearance processes
• Assist with the legal review of all produced content to ensure compliance with company policies
• Review production agreements, including location agreements, appearance releases, materials releases, footage licenses
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and/ or paralegal certification
• 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal or rights and clearance specialist in connect with the production of media content from a law practice, production company, studio, or television network
• Experience reviewing and providing guidance on legal issues that may arise
• Experience with intellectual property, right of publicity, privacy, and defamation issues
• Experience juggling multiple projects at once in a challenging, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment
• Fast learner with excellent follow-through and organizational skills
• Initiative and attention to detail
• Excellent oral, written and listening skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other office-related software.
