Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Podcast Researcher to build in-depth guest and topic dossiers that support our host, showrunner, and producers. This role is central to shaping the editorial direction of each episode by grounding every conversation in rigorous research while helping thread a compelling human narrative through complex tech topics.

Key Responsibilities
Build comprehensive guest dossiers based on creative input from the showrunner and producers
Research both:
Guest biographical background
Guest subject-matter expertise related to episode themes
Track and synthesize:
Current trends in AI, tech, and business
Relevant news, products, companies, and investments
Help translate complex technical concepts into clear, human-centered narratives
Deliver prep documents that support:
Interview structure
Editorial framing
Story and conversation arcs

Qualifications
Strong familiarity with the tech industry, startup ecosystem, and AI landscape
Prior experience as:
A podcast researcher, journalist, or in a journalism-adjacent research role
Proven ability to:
Conduct high-level executive research
Verify sources and synthesize complex information quickly
Write clearly for production and on-air use
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, creative production environment
