Research Assistant

A boutique production company is looking for a college undergraduate based in Boston for 1 day's work as a research assistant, with the potential for more work if required.

Job entails visiting the Boston Public Library to scan old copies of the East Boston Times' column titled the ''Murphy Column'' from 1959 to 1974, when the newspaper stopped publishing. The newspaper has not been digitized but is held at the library on microfilm. We would like examples of the column to be scanned and an assessment of the quantity held at the library to be established.

In the first instance we ask for a day (9am to 5pm) to be spent at the library.

Start date: as soon as possible
Requirements: must be based in the Boston area
