Prominent entertainment law firm in Santa Monica seeks a recent law school graduate to serve as a full-time Receptionist and Executive Assistant supporting two busy senior partners. Position would be a unique learning opportunity and possible springboard into a career in entertainment law or the entertainment industry at large.
Ideal candidate must be proactive at organization, capable of multi-tasking, and effectively and efficiently servicing needs of partners and their clients. Excellent oral/written communication skills are mandatory. Professional and friendly phone demeanor essential. Good computer skills are required. Sharp attention to details essential. Position requires administration of partners' lives and work and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Based upon performance, position can grow to include Law Clerk duties (akin to a judicial clerkship, but in the context of working for a practicing entertainment attorney), while still requiring traditional legal assistant and receptionist duties. No guarantee of continued employment or eventual hire by firm as an attorney, but this position would provide invaluable experience to a motivated law graduate with an interest in entertainment law.
