DESCRIPTION:

Role Overview
We are seeking a Script Reader to join our team. This person will play a critical role in evaluating incoming scripts and providing written coverage that highlights story strengths, weaknesses, marketability, and potential talent attachments.

Responsibilities
• Read and evaluate feature film, television, and pilot scripts.
• Write thoughtful, professional script coverage including: loglines, synopses, and detailed analysis.
• Identify standout material and provide recommendations tailored to our clients' needs.
• Track themes, trends, and opportunities that align with company priorities.
• Collaborate closely with management team to prioritize projects for internal and external consideration.

Requirements
• Strong background in film/TV, creative writing, or related field.
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex feedback clearly and concisely.
• Deep understanding of story structure, character development, pacing, and dialogue.
• Professional discretion when handling confidential material.
• Commitment to original work - use of AI or automated tools is strictly prohibited.
• Previous experience as a script reader, development assistant, or in a related capacity is strongly preferred.
