Reporting to the Vice President of Communications for a daily daytime talk show, the position includes performing general administrative tasks, reviewing and compiling press clippings, creating comprehensive media tour itineraries, drafting talent messaging, booking photographers, handling logistics for press on set, distributing press releases, updating press contact lists, preparing award submissions, processing invoices, maintaining calendars and other various day to day activities as warranted. Must have the ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced office and liaise with other departments. Candidate must also have very strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, great phone etiquette and be comfortable working with press and talent.
Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience working in television publicity (syndicated, cable, network, digital) preferred. Familiarity with print, broadcast and online press outlets and grasp of television production essential.
