Boutique Powerhouse Entertainment PR Firm with High Level Talent and Corporate Clients is looking for bright, motivated, reliable candidate as ''coordinator'' to work in its Los Angeles Office. The person will be a college graduate with a public relations degree (preferred) with at least 6-months experience at a related personal publicity, lifestyle or events firm where they were responsible for heavy calendar entry, phones, and coordinating interviews, photoshoots and travel.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones /Rolling Calls
- Handling Cision lists/Celebrity Intelligence/Celebrity Datebook/IMDB PRO etc
- Calendar Management
- Updating Charts/Pitch Grids/All Excel Spreadsheets
- Memos and Itineraries/Coordinating Interviews and Travel
- Servicing
Qualifications:
- Cision
- Photoshop preferred
- Microsoft Office 360 Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Blackberry/Iphone/Android
- Be a fast learner, independent and has street smarts
- Strong writer, picks up things quickly, strong attention to detail
- Understands servicing (in terms of event coverage, interviews, reviews, items, client mentions)
Understanding of Film, Television and Theater is preferred. A love of entertainment is important as well as a passion for the arts, and the business. This is a small office. Everyone pitches in in all tasks. Must be quick on his/her feet, be reliable, no stone goes unturned type of person. We are excited to be hiring and this person will be first in line to be promoted, given more responsibility over time as they excel, as well as opportunity for high growth and success at firm.
