Project Coordinator Music Company
We are a record label, management and events company based in Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the extended team in helping to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Tasks:
Nacional Records
Project coordinator of music releases include maintaining communication with artist teams pre, during and post single and album releases.
Organize, manage, and distribute release assets including artwork, photos, photo credits, logos, lyrics, video thumbnails, buy links, key dates, shows, artist blurb, social media assets, and any other relevant information.
Inform artists and artists teams of playlists, press hits and any other relevant information / pickups throughout release cycles.
Assist the Marketing team on DSP pitching via DSP artist platforms, direct pitching to music distributor rep and participate on weekly calls with DSP reps.
Prepare, update, and maintain marketing reports, artist marketing decks, and artist one sheets for different markets.
Draft, format, and edit a range of documents
Press and PR support: keep track and update press and media contacts and maintain a relationship with them to facilitate pitching and press opportunities.
Press and PR support: Serves as a point of contact to facilitate, secure, coordinate and manage press opportunities alongside the Marketing team and the artists / artists teams.
Collaborate on the creative process alongside the marketing team, stay on top of digital and marketing trends and developments on the platforms and advise artists / artists teams accordingly based on the established strategy.
Work alongside the Marketing team to achieve established goals.
Participate in social media asset creation
LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference)
Work closely with the rest of the team on the production of the event both on its virtual and in person versions
Coordinate asset collection with conference participants, artists and executives
Coordinate asset collection with sponsors
Coordinate press room during the conference
Qualifications
• Passionate music fan with previous administrative experience in marketing or a related field.
• Knowledge of Latin Music and the Latin Music industry.
• A thoughtful, organized and results-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication both in Spanish and English
• An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
• You embrace creativity, aim high and push boundaries
• You have a high attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office Software, as well as Google docs/sheets/slides and Photoshop / Canva
• Proficient in Spanish (verbal and written)
• Social media management
