The Production Supervisor will oversee on-site video production crew and post team management for a studio in LA, while also providing global oversight of in-studio vendors across Nashville and New York. This role combines hands-on scheduling, vendor management, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless daily radio studio production and content delivery.
This is a dual-track role: the Supervisor will personally oversee in-studio and on-location productions and post production, while also serving as the primary manager of all on-site crew of camera operators and editors. The right candidate will fully understand production workflows end to end, and experienced enough to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable.
• Assign and distribute the studio schedule, coordinate production crew and post team coverage of all daily needs, including Robo-cam, cinema camera, iPhone coverage and video edits.
• Partner closely with internal staff to confirm crew assignments and execute day-to-day holding schedules for studio coverage.
• Book rotating studio talent crew on daily resource needs, adjusting schedules in real time as bookings shift or new requests arise.
• Produce shoots and content captures in the studio and on-location.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of studio support roles, with the ability to step in as production support when needed on site.
• Serve as the primary people manager for on-site production talent/crew, including sourcing new team members and managing off boarding as needed.
• Lead the on-site team with the seniority and judgment to make day-to-day calls independently, while keeping leadership informed on staffing, performance, and escalations.
• Collaborate on Airtable workflows, scheduling systems, productivity reports and process improvements to support the studio's continued growth.
• Oversee execution of crew and edit schedules across multiple content formats.
• Delegate production and post-production responsibilities to appropriate vendor teams across production and post.
• Coordinate daily radio show production alongside the Production team, liaising with radio teams, hosts, and talent to execute and deliver video content.
• Act as direct manager for full-time talent, overseeing HR-related needs such as vacation planning and time-off requests.
• Manage compensatory time or budget coverage for crew working weekends or overtime.

This is a contract position with compensation commensurate with experience. The role has the potential to transition into full-time position based on performance, company needs and mutual fit.
