Job Title: Production Designer for Feature Film (Unpaid Deferred)

Location: Open to candidates from anywhere, local preferred

Shooting Dates: Tentative dates from August 12 to August 28

Payment: Deferred payment with percentages from sales

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and visionary Production Designer to join our team for an upcoming feature film. This is a unique opportunity to bring your artistic skills to a creative project and work with a passionate team of filmmakers. The position is unpaid, but we offer deferred payment and a percentage of sales from the film.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the director and production team to develop the visual concept and style of the film
Design and create sets, locations, props, and other visual elements
Oversee the construction and decoration of sets, ensuring they align with the film's vision and budget
Coordinate with the art department and other crew members to ensure a cohesive look and feel
Manage the production design budget and maintain records of all materials and expenses
Ensure continuity and consistency of the visual design throughout the shoot
Address any production design-related issues that arise during filming
Requirements:

Some experience as a Production Designer, Art Director, or similar role in film, theater, or television preferred
Portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative vision
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for film and a creative mindset
