We're looking for a freelance Production Coordinator to cover for a leave of absence for our Content Studio team who will work on a team focused on video production of all shapes and sizes. We deliver digital video content, social media video integration and marketing campaigns with a heavy emphasis on all aspects of video content pre-production, production, and sometimes post-production. The Production Coordinator will report directly to the Production Manager and will be an essential part of the in-house Content Studio team to help execute an array of projects. Responsibilities include administrative and on-set duties on every production proposal & project from our in-house Content Studio.
Responsibilities
• Keep production department organized.
• Work hand in hand with Content Studio and other company departments during production shoots.
• Provide administrative assistance to the production department as needed.
• Coordinate freelancers, book locations, and rent equipment for production shoots.
• Secure all paperwork & timecards for crew. Track invoices for production expenses.
• Manage timelines and dues dates. Help manage project flow from start to finish.
• Provides open communication pipeline between Content Studio and other company departments.
• Managed collection and distribution, of relevant materials (e.g. creative documents, production schedules, crew lists, call sheets, etc.).
• Special projects as assigned.
Wish List
• Entertainment Industry, television, digital content or related production knowledge and experience is a must.
• Knowledge of facility with standard office equipment, software and production software.
• Experience in an advertising agency setting is highly desired.
• Experience on-set in the production of commercial and/or branded content is highly desired.
• Knowledge of all aspects of production from pre-production through post-production & delivery in highly desired.
• Familiarity with video production equipment including camera, sound and lighting a major plus.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task. Must be detail oriented.
• Must be organized, resourceful & able to work independently (a self-starter).
• Position requires a team player.
• Flexible, ability to develop creative solutions and ability to work well under time constraints in a frequently fast-paced environment.
• Willing and able to wear multiple hats.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
