Boutique Talent Management & Production company Develops Scripted & Unscripted for Television & Films is seeking an Experienced Producer to Join Team.
Boutique Production company seeks an experienced Producer to join our Team. Reporting to the Director of Development and Original Programming. The Producer will oversee internal projects that are ready for the placement of the Market place.
• Candidate must have strong, deep, relationships with financiers, agents, managers, producers, studios and talent.
• Researching and developing show ideas with the Team that originate from both internal sources and acquired pitches
• Taking meetings with producers, agents, production company reps and talent - both in general to cultivate relationships and to take specific pitches
• Presenting our internal projects to sell show concepts
• Maintaining strong relationships with the creative community - agents, producers, talent, etc.
• Working closely with other departments, such as Ad Sales, Marketing and Digital, to ensure all programming aligns with network revenue and marketing objectives
• Maintaining constant awareness of industry trends and keeping up to date on all content related trends and information
• Working closely with colleagues to jointly meet company-wide goals
Basic Qualifications
• At least 5 years' experience leading in television & film production and/or development
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience developing and/or producing multiple genres including docu-series and competition formats
Additional Qualifications
• It is critical the candidate has worked in scripted/ unscripted and independent films at a high level at a network, studio or production company.
• Must have a strong knowledge of, and relationships with, key players in the production industry, including emerging talent, agents, production companies, financiers
• A strong understanding of the television and film production process
• Experience with building and working as part of a cohesive team
• The ability to successfully translate vision into strategy and turn that strategy into reality by producing a pipeline of shows
• The ability to appreciate different points of view, yet wholeheartedly embrace the culture of our company.
• A proven track record of fostering, building and maintaining relationships with key external and internal clients
• A high integrity level and a passion for the quality of programming that airs on the network
• Flexibility and the ability to perform effectively under stress and meet deadlines
• A high energy level and the ability to manage through a period of change and growth
• The ability to work at a strategic level as well as be involved in day-to-day activities
• The ability to prioritize
• Excellent communications and relationship skills
