Search for Producer - Video jobs in El Segundo-CA
As the Video Producer, you will be responsible for coordinating all shoots relating to brand marketing, digital ads and social media content, and will work closely with the Director of Video Content to execute the companies creative vision. An ideal candidate is someone who loves the operational aspects of producing. This candidate is someone who enjoys business, budgets and contracts, but who is also comfortable on set, knows exactly how a professional production operates, and understands how to pull a production together within a variety of circumstances and budgets. Must be a self-starter and problem solver with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a desire to improve and remain competitive in an ever-evolving market place.
This position will report to the Director, Video Content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in budget development and management
Plan, prepare cost estimates, manage and execute video projects
Accountable for successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Work closely with Director of Video Content to shape expectations and define scope of projects in order to facilitate successful video shoots within time and budget constraints.
Counsel team as necessary regarding the most efficient and effective use of resources and logistics required for successful project execution
Research suitable locations and make recommendations to creative leadership
Represent company and act as liaison with location owners, city officials and local contacts during video shoots.
Help identify and manage all internal and external (locations, talent, crew, stylists, hair & makeup artists, props, etc.) resources to translate project from vision to reality.
Conceptualize, create and distribute to all participants of each project an information packet consisting of a detailed account of each production project.
Negotiate fees, coordinate ground transportation, shipping, catering, secure permits and proper release forms related to photography projects.
Oversee daily operations, recognize and resolve all conflicts, set pace and encourage effective communication and team building.
Maintain freelance database.
Process, record and ensure accuracy of all invoices related to video shoot projects.
Develop and maintain a detailed historical account of all location video projects.
Ensure appropriate rights management process is in place and utilized.
Maintain video equipment and arrange for service as needed.
Manage content calendar.
Manage project in-take procedure
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of professional producing/production experience
Experience with celebrity talent a plus.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Network of freelance contacts a huge plus
Must be currently available in Los Angeles and willing to work in our El Segundo office.
