This is a Full Time Job
A San Diego-based Film Producer is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to assist with all aspects of the filmmaking process. Including but not limited to, research, development, pre-production, production, post-production, marketing, distribution, and home entertainment.
Please be able to work as a local in San Diego, CA (WIthin 60 miles). General hours would range Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM PST to 5:30 PM PST. Overtime and Weekends may be required at certain points. The job runs for an initial two-week trial period. After completion of the trial period, a decision will be made on future employment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Office Administration: Managing digital filing systems, and creating spreadsheets/documents to maintain project organization.
Executive Assistance: Scheduling meetings and calls, Working with the Producer to determine priorities and tasks, managing Producer calendars, note-taking, researching, and managing special projects as assigned.
Event Coordination: Booking events, managing event marketing materials, organizing payments and invoicing, coordinating schedules, organizing publicity materials, generating event agreements, and communicating with event sponsors
Travel Coordination: Booking executive and crew travel, creating travel itineraries, and managing online travel software.
Advertising and Publicity: Working with the Producer on creating advertising agreements, gathering and delivering advertising assets, obtaining MPA approvals for advertising materials, facilitating payments, tracking advertising and earned media, broadcast scriptwriting, and creating detailed ad traffic instructions.
Production Coordination and research based on the needs of the Producer.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• College degree preferred.
• Must have 2-3 Years prior Media Executive Assistance experience.
• Must have a clean driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and DropBox
• Knowledge in Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling, Quickbooks, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
