WE ARE SEEKING a Full-time Jr agent for an established modeling agency based in Los Angeles.
We are a model and talent agency that has an innovative and proactive approach to the career management of its talent. Boutique in size, our very experienced team focuses on a select number of models and talent and their individual career paths. We strive to be ahead of the curve and only represent the top up-and-coming talent in town and across the nation. The quality of our men and women has been recognized by clients as a standard of what is current and relevant in this ever-changing business and we are looking for an agent who will uphold the same values and drive.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to understand rates and negotiate accordingly.
Excellent verbal, phone, and written communication.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Ability to scout and find new faces
Has strong relationships within the fashion segment of the industry
Individuals must be organized and have excellent interpersonal/effective written & verbal communication.
Detail-oriented with a strong feeling of responsibility when it comes to client relationships
Sensitivity toward topics such as body image, disabilities, gender, etc
Should be open to a standard NDA / Non-Compete
Adaptable, self-motivated, good at prioritizing, and solution/results-driven
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage & build relationships, proactive client outreach
Handle multiple projects
Push talent for opportunities
Rate and contract negotiations
Manage across boards
Weekly check-ins
Assist in talent management and strategizing
Client meetings
Attend events
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in the entertainment industry as it relates to models and talent including previous booking agent experience; or any combination of experience and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skills, and ability required.
SALARY:
Base salary (based on experience) plus commission
SCHEDULE:
We are now working full-time at our downtown Los Angeles office.
