This can be remote, but if prospect is in LA that would be bonus points as there is room to grow into a client-facing role (covering interviews, carpets, etc.).
Seeking a PR Assistant to help on day-to-day entertainment PR client accounts (digital talent, musicians, actors mostly).
Looking for someone who already has some experience working for a PR Executive / at a PR company / in the industry and knows its common processes (pitching, memo'ing, distributing press breaks, using MuckRack..etc.). Someone who has worked directly with talent is a plus.
The company is really collaborative and new-school (no old-school hollywood antics re: hours, egos, hierarchy...etc.) - we aim to empower our team and help them grow the reach their own goals, as well. Since we are growing, there is room for the prospect to move up as quickly as they want / work for. Boss is easy going and will allow person to sign their own clients and make commission under the company name as long as they are fit for it, so the opportunity to grow into being a publicist and begin making way more money down the line is there. Looking for someone who is serious and would want to build together long-term if it works for them. Really easy going but since it's small and new, we run a tight ship in that we expect the person to take it seriously. We are always respectful but hold each-other accountable.
Tasks include:
- scheduling calls with team, talent and others
- pitching talent to interviews & events
- keeping grids organized
- managing talent itineraries
- liaising with talent, staff, talent teams... etc.
- handling 10-15 clients at once
Hours would start at 15-30 per week but can increase as we see fit.
