Description
Video company in Philadelphia seeking Post-Production Manager to organize and oversee editing and delivery of a wide variety of video projects. Must have a strong technical and organizational background, as well as clear, direct, and diplomatic communication skills. This position will act as the main point of contact for both clients and the post-production team, shepherding projects through the process and ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to clients' satisfaction. Must have a team-focused attitude and a desire to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee post-production of projects from shoots through final delivery and archiving
Coordinate with Creative Director, in-house team, and freelance staff to plan each project's timeline and workflow
Communicate with clients, managing deadlines/expectations and facilitating rounds of feedback/revision
Schedule and assign editors, assistant editors, and animators; brief them on projects
Receive media after shoots and ensure it is properly copied and backed up
Delegate project prep to assistant editors, make sure they are following procedures for organization
Check edits for errors or technical issues before sending to clients
Supervise workflow of color and audio mastering process after projects are approved
Archive projects once complete
Organize and maintain media library and project archive
Required Skills + Experience
At least 4+ years experience in video production/post-production
Strong knowledge of FCPX, Adobe Creative Suite, Da Vinci Resolve
Familiarity with RED media and workflows
Excellent organization and communication skills
Editing experience (preferably with Final Cut Pro X)
Not essential but very helpful:
Production experience including filming and directing
Technical aptitude including competency with server and NAS troubleshooting
