We are currently in the process of hiring a Personal/Administrative Assistant for a Los Angeles based Creative Director/Choreographer/Producer. The ideal candidate is a resourceful self-starter, with reliable transportation, schedule flexibility and based in LA. Being organized, a quick learner and an appreciation for the creative arts are a must. Please apply to be considered for the position. This position will require managing MANY tasks and responsibilities. The candidate will perform administrative, organizational, creative, and personal assignments. In addition, the chosen candidate will be expected to assist with the owner's non-profit organization and clothing line.
The following is a description of expected responsibilities. Please note, this list does not encompass all responsibilities that will be expected of the chosen candidate. This list serves as a guideline.
Run general errands
Home maintenance such as light house cleaning, regular laundry, and simple meal prep
Daily scheduling and updates of meetings and appointments
Answer & respond to client emails
Oversee rehearsal/audition/interview/media set-up
Manage and complete assigned projects from to start to finish with little to no supervision.
Capture video and picture content regularly with the ability to turn around simple edits
Assist with the care of a 1-year-old golden doodle (dog). Do not apply if you do not like dogs.
Presentation preparation (i.e. pulling references, creating decks and mood boards)
Find opportunities to expand the business.
Manage travel arrangements
Packing/unpacking bags for travel
Other duties as assigned
This position requires extreme schedule flexibility and the ability to dedicate 6 days per week.
Reliable transportation. This position involves heavy driving so candidates must be comfortable navigating Los Angeles
Around the clock schedule flexibility with a willingness to travel out of town with employer when necessary
Discretion and confidentiality
Proven work experience as a personal assistant is a plus!
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Up-to-date knowledge with latest social media platforms
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Previous experience in project management is a plus.
Must be creative, artsy, and able to share creative ideas in regards to projects.
High school required.
Bachelor's degree preferred
