We are seeking a personal assistant for our client, an American songwriter, singer and rapper. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant, preferably in the music industry. Must be polished, professional, quick to learn, good with time management and experience operating and excelling in ambiguity.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Oversee artist's calendar and diary of meetings and commitments, ensuring the artist's time is properly managed
Ensure the artist is properly briefed on all appointments, meetings and follow up calls
Work with the artists' labels and publishers to ensure all sessions are coordinated, set up and briefed properly with the artists, writers, producers and engineers
Assist artist with day to day tasks including running errands and miscellaneous tasks
Organize travel accommodations and occasionally join artist on business trips
What We Are Looking For:
Preferred candidates have experience working with music artists or high profile individuals. In this job you must be able to rapidly adapt while maintaining strong attention to detail, expert level organization/filing skills, and good time management.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in a previous Assistant role, balancing multiple tasks at any given time.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Great communication skills, with the ability to build relationships whilst always maintaining professionalism
Flexible in your attitude to working out of hours, appreciating at times it's what will be required to get the job done.
Strong work ethic, arriving every day with a smile and spring in your step!
Resilient and able to think on your feet, especially, at times, in a stressful and highly demanding environment.
Excellent telephone and email manner.
Tech Savvy, and a confident user of the Microsoft Office Package and Apple/Mac.
Ability to work well under pressure and use your initiative.
Flexible and reliable with an enthusiastic, approachable personality.
Calm by nature, with the ability to put people at ease in often stressful situations.
Must be flexible to work outside of regular hours
Must be fully vaccinated and willing to take occasional PCR tests at artists discretion
Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.
Location: Encino, CA. There may be occasional travel with the artist
Type: Contract-to-hire. 1099 to start with a potential to turn into an employee.
Pay: Up to $70,000; no benefits this time
